J GREEN NATURAL FOODS CO. was formed as the food production partner of Java Green Cafe, Washington D.C.'s award-winning vegetarian restaurant. Java Green earned Best Vegetarian Restaurant in 2007 and 2008 (VegDC.com), and has been awarded PETA’s prestigious Proggy Award for its progressive dining choices. In 2008, J GREEN NATURAL FOODS CO. was created to bring our leading-edge and "pre-industrial grain" plant proteins to customers at a national level through food service and retail sales channels. Our focus on texture technology and delicious flavors and our emphasis on customer service are making J GREEN products a great success in our short history.
